Now, if you purchase one of our annual cloud subscriptions with 1,001 or more users, we can extend your Server maintenance or Data Center subscription for up to one year for free. This will help you to painlessly migrate to the Cloud.

What is Atlassian Dual Licensing Program
Today, more and more companies prefer Cloud to Server and Data Center. And there are three main reasons for this. First, migrating to the Cloud allows reducing IT costs, eliminating unnecessary hardware and on-premises assets. Second, it helps to increase business agility and make regular tasks quicker. And, third, cloud apps can provide better security and allow you to protect your applications from malicious hacking attempts due to the regular system upgrades and policy updates.
However, migrating to the Cloud is a complex process, especially if you have a huge infrastructure. It may be wise to make the process in stages, i. e. transport data, users, and apps one by one, rather than all at once. And this may require more time as well as additional costs.
That’s why, to help current users easily and seamlessly change their Server maintenance or Data Center subscriptions to Cloud ones, Atlassian has launched Dual Licensing Program. It enables to extend existing plans for up to a year with a 100% discount when purchasing Cloud subscriptions for the same solutions with 1,001 or more users.
Server maintenance or Data Center subscriptions that expired no more than 30 days ago are also eligible. If there is no analogous product on the Server or Data Center side, the next highest tier will be granted. The extended subscription will end earlier than in a year if the promotion Cloud subscription ends.
