On Monday, November 21, Alpha Serve was delighted to participate in ServiceNow World Forum which took part in Zurich, Switzerland in Circle Convention Center at Zurich Airport. An awe-inspiring event where more than 500 community members have gathered to discuss the future of innovations, technologies and opportunities within ServiceNow ecosystem.
The Keynote speech was given by Alain Badoux, ServiceNow Area VP Switzerland, on “Making the world work in the time of uncertainty”. Mr. Badoux pointed out that nowadays companies are feeling the pressure because of inflation, supply chain and compliance. Also there is a huge competition for talent and more businesses fail during downturns while “rising star” businesses increase by 47%.
During his speech Mr. Badoux expressed his appreciation to all his colleagues as far as it’s 10 years since ServiceNow is working in Switzerland. They have 2 data centers in Geneva and Zurich since 2012, offices in Lausanne and Zurich. Their employee headcount increased tenfold since first office opening. Over 90% of the SMI 20 (Swiss Market Index) listed companies are their customers. For us especially interesting was the fact the number of international organizations such as UNHCR, IOC, ICRC, Heilsarmee, Terre des Hommes are customers of ServiceNow in Switzerland.
Following, the panel discussion has started, where Detlef Krause, Vice President&General Manager EMEA Central of ServiceNow had a chat with Isabella Kosch, Head of GBS Service Management of Swarovski and Oliver de Wilde, Global Head of Serve Integration of Hitachi Energy.
Despite the business talks ServiceNow World Forum impressed by caring about charity, so the charity collection box was introduced to help UNHCR, ICRC and The Salvation Army to achieve their goals.

After the break the event was divided into 3 locations – Hall A, Room Matterhorn and Room Jungfrau where participants had a lot of chats on how to build a resilient and digital-first organization, drive EX & service efficiency across business and ensure continuous services innovation and much more. Lectures and customer sessions were provided by BIS, BMW, UBS, Zurich, Accenture, ICRC and Deloitte.
Partner theatre sessions where also compelling!

Participants had a chance to listen to:

  • Accenture “Automated inspections using robots and autonomous drones”
  • Deloitte “Drive enterprise transformation with Deloitte and ServiceNow”
  • Celonis “Redefining how work flows”
  • Devoteam “5 countries – 5 workflows – 5 customers”
