Chief Executive Officer in Alpha Serve
Alpha Serve is a Silver Corporate Member of OWASP
We are happy to announce that since June 2022 Alpha Serve is now a Silver Corporate Member of OWASP.

It is one more step to highlight our company's focus on application security and the implementation of global best practices for secure software development.

What Is OWASP

The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP)
The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a nonprofit foundation that is targeted at improving software security. It is an open community that is dedicated to enabling organizations to conceive, develop, acquire, operate, and maintain applications that can be trusted by both, individuals and organizations.

For the last 20 years, OWASP Foundation has been actively supported by corporations, foundations, developers, and volunteers from all over the world.

Why Does Alpha Serve Join

Alpha Serve joins OWASP membership
As the majority of our apps are used by Enterprise, we work closely with industry leaders and multinational companies. In recent years, we notice the growing demand for solutions with proven evidence of their security, stable performance, reliability, and data protection. Clients not only want to use software that optimizes daily operations, but they prefer to be sure that all software including apps is reliable and fully secure. Learn more about the ways we protect customer data in this article.

OWASP Membership will allow Alpha Serve to exchange experience and get new knowledge in the community of secure development associates, providing early access to the newest security technologies and best practices that we will further study and implement for our business.

How Alpha Serve Takes Care of the Apps Security

Alpha Serve applications security and protection
We are targeted to create the solutions that can fully meet the needs and expectations of our clients, that is why we use all opportunities to ensure the security and reliability of our products. Besides OWASP Membership, we have been taking a range of other efforts.

Cloud Fortified Program

All our Cloud apps are part of the Atlassian Cloud Fortified program. It is a remarkable sign of trust within the Atlassian Marketplace. Only Enterprise-grade apps with enhanced data security and business reliability can obtain this status from Atlassian. It is an important recognition for the Atlassian Marketplace partner.

Atlassian Bug Bounty Program

For almost 2 years all of our apps have participated in the Atlassian Bug Bounty Program on BugCrowd. It is considered to be one of the most powerful post-production tools to help detect vulnerabilities in applications. We at Alpha Serve aim to continuously improve the security of our apps, that’s why we were among the first vendors to join this opportunity. Thus, our apps are constantly scanned with crowdsourced vulnerability discovery methods available through Bug Bounty.

Application Security Policy

To ensure the secure development processes and reliability of our applications, we have the relevant policies and procedures in place. Our Application Security Management scope includes:

  • Application Security Policy
  • Incident Reporting Procedure
  • Application Vulnerability Policy

These documents are public.
